Display stand will be in The Meadows shopping centre, Chelmsford.
Wednesday 12th September
Deadline for schools registrations. After this date schools may still register but have to collect & return their boxes themselves.
Monday 17th September
Boxes delivered to schools during this week.
Monday 1st October to Saturday 13th October
Warehouse open for deliveries - see under the 'How to Help' menu for its location at the appropriate time..
Monday 8th October
Schools collection week begins - please have your boxes ready!
Saturday 13th October
Last day for boxes in The Meadows.
Sunday 14th October
Thanksgiving Service, 6.30pm at The Meadows, Chelmsford.

Lorry loading day

Welcome to another year
of
Harvest for the Hungry
Thank you to everybody who took part. Last years total was 2660 boxes of food - plus other items including mobility aids, hand knitted blankets, stationery and personal care items.
Please take a while to explore our site. Look at the news items and reports to read about and see pictures of aid you helped supply being distributed.
News from Blagoevgrad
A report just received from the Red Cross in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, is reproduced below. The picture shows a Red Cross aid worker helping to distribute some of the food we collected in November 2011.
“Until this moment (end of January) we have distributed most of the aid (from Harvest +). Our first priorities were these groups: children in risk, poor families with many children; homeless, disabled, lonely and elderly people. There is a bigger need in the institutions for bedridden sick and elderly people: Homes, Halfway Houses and Day Centers for adults with physical disabilities, Homes for elderly people, Hospitals and other. The Bulgarian Red Cross is trying to give adequate help to every individual in need, as well as to the social institutions.
