This year, 2660 boxes of food have been donated to Harvest for the Hungry, valued at £27,000.
Today (18th October), they were loaded on to 2 lorries to be sent to Bulgaria. There, the food will be given to hungry and needy people this winter.
We also sent medical aid, warm blankets for children and elderly people, stationery for use in schools and personal hygiene supplies.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this year’s project from everyone at Harvest for the Hungry.
An update with pictures of the aid being distributed will be published here as soon as possible.
