Thank you for filling boxes for the Harvest for the Hungry project. We hope you will have a bumper harvest at your school! Detailed below are the arrangements for the collection of filled (and any unused) boxes.

 

Please...

Once all the food is in school, pack it in the boxes we have provided, making sure that:

 
  • ONLY ONE TYPE OF FOOD IS IN EACH BOX
  • each packet is in a plastic bag (to contain any spillage during transit).
  • the box is TAPED on the top and bottom (following the instructions printed on the box and on the right on this page). Please don't interweave the flaps.
  • the contents of the box are marked on the outside;
    and
  • the top and bottom of the box is FLAT.
  • Please encourage financial donations as well as food – without these, the boxes will stay in Chelmsford!
  • Any queries – call Angela Palotai on 01245 259387 or use the schools registration form to email her during the time that it is available to use, placing the text of your query in the address box on the form.

Collection Dates

For those schools that register before the cut off date, collection will be arranged and an email will be sent to notify you of the date that we will be collecting from your school. It will also be published on a list here.
