Instructions

1
Decide which type of aid box you are going to donate and obtain a supply of empty boxes and leaflets from The Meadows Shopping Centre or your supporting organisation.
The boxes measure 12”x 9”x 9”.
2
Buy the items according to the list, making sure if it is food that it has a sell-by date after January 2012.
3
Mark the outside of the box with either ‘Family Food’, ‘Hygiene Box’ OR the name of the single item. Seal the top and bottom of the box with thick brown parcel tape ensuring that the top and bottom are flat after sealing. This is very important, as the boxes have to be stacked for transportation.
4
Arrange for the box to be returned to your supporting organisation or to the Meadows Shopping Centre or direct to the H4H warehouse by no later than Saturday 15th October 2011. A list of supporting organisations may be found under the heading "Who is Helping" above.
5
To pay for transport costs, we ask for a donation of £3 per box (but please do not put money in the boxes). Cheques should be made payable to “Harvest Plus” (If you are a taxpayer, please give under “Gift Aid” (details from the Helpline and here on this site) to increase the value of your donation by 25%). Cash may be given to the collection supervisor.

Once again this year, we are hoping to raise enough money to pay all the transportation costs and then buy some fresh food in Eastern Europe for children in orphanages, families and elderly people.

(Any surplus funds will be used to support other H4H projects)
