Collection of Empty Boxes

Following the launch of the Project in September, supplies of flat packed boxes will be available for distribution to individuals and groups who wish to take part. Boxes may be collected from the Harvest for the Hungry stand in The Meadows shopping precinct, Chelmsford, between 10am and 4pm weekdays. Bulk collection by groups or schools (i.e. 10 or more boxes) can be made from the service deck of The Meadows shopping centre. Please phone the Helpline, see the contacts page for details.

It would be helpful if you would collect only the number of boxes which you can reasonably expect to use. Further supplies can be obtained if necessary.

Please do take careful note of the instructions about contents of boxes, and also packing. It's most important that boxes are not over packed! They will be stacked on pallets of 90 boxes, and if the top and bottom of your box is not completely flat, it will affect the whole pallet, and will have to be re-packed.
