Thank you for showing your interest in the Berkovitsa Orphanage, Bulgaria. We first stumbled across this orphanage when delivering food aid parcels to desperately needy families and Childrens homes in the Balkans.

Since our first visit to the orphanage we have been back many times. We have painted and decorated many parts of their living accommodation, carpeted many areas, bought clothing, shoes, furniture, heaters for the eating area and plenty of food. All of this has been due to the generosity of the local people, businesses, churches and schools of the Essex area. So much more work can be done to improve the lives of these children.
